The LIO offers Alaskans services to communicate with the Alaska Legislature in Juneau. Public testimony can be made live to legislators via webcam during session, as well as email access to the legislature and Governor's office, for those in need of communication services. Contact information for House Representatives, the Alaska Senate and Governor, as well as information on current legislation, are also available.

Representative Eric Feige said Monday that he will be meeting constituents at the Valdez LIO in early January, as he has done in the past.

"This is normally what I do," he said in a telephone interview.

The legislative session begins in Juneau on January 21. Office hours are weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
