Copper Valley Long Distance, Inc. (CVLD) hereby gives notice that on October 26, 2016 it filed TA-39-555 with the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (the Commission).

With the filing, CVLD reduces its long distance Basic Station Rate from $0.12 per minute to $0.10 per minute for the initial and additional minute. This tariff filing will go into effect after a thirty (30) day review period, or November 25, 2016.

A copy of this tariff revision can be reviewed at the offices of CVLD at 329 Fairbanks Street, Suite 12, Valdez, AK 99686. This filing may also be inspected at the offices of the Commission at 701 West 8th Avenue, Suite 300, Anchorage, AK 99501, (907) 276-6222.

Valdez Convention & Visitors Bureau

Board of Directors Vacancy Announcement

As per the By-laws of the Valdez Convention & Visitors Bureau any vacancy occurring in the Board of Directors may be filled by an appointment voted affirmatively by the majority of the Members of the Valdez Convention & Visitors Bureau. An appointed Director shall serve for a three-year term.

The Valdez Convention & Visitors Bureau is accepting applications for nominees to fill two vacant seats on the Valdez Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors.

To be eligible for a Board Director position, the nominee must be a Valdez resident, a current VCVB member and in good standing of the Valdez Convention & Visitors Bureau.

To be considered for the vacant positions of Board of Director for the VCVB for the 2017-2020 period, pick up an application form from the Visitors Center at 309 Fairbanks Drive. Instructions on how to complete your application will be on the application form. The Center is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

The deadline to submit nominations is 5pm November 3rd, 2016
